--- All Clinton Meneely of Troy sales here --- by Pius Kehn --- first of 3 generations of Kehn family employees --- The Kehn Book ** Clinton Meneely of Troy - all bell sales - voluntarily transcribed into EXCEL by Jess Brodnax
Use these hints to make your search of this EXCEL Data Base faster for you.
Hit [open], then wait patiently for spread sheet to open, hit [enable macros],
then hit CTRL-F (find), fill in [search for](it is not case sensitive), hit [find] or [find all].
The EXCEL line number will show on the left, and you might have to go left and right to get all the info.

So far, since our 1993 use of this somewhat alphabetized transcription, a few bells seem to have escaped recording from the maze of handwritten information available to Pius Kehn.

Lewis Aspinwall bell foundry in Albany  1835+ - the only bronze bell foundry in New York State not in Troy or NYC - 3 bells verified, more unverified.
Actually there is some interesting history here.

Julius Hanks bells  1824+ - founded in both West Troy and later on in Troy - in the early 1800s - 6 verified, more unverified.

Clinton Meneely Foundry   1872-1952 - history, the Kehns, foundry, videos - and more as found.

Now all closed, Troy was the home of 2/3 of the pre-1950 bellfounding in the United States.
West Troy/Watervliet (across the Hudson River from Troy) had Julius and Oscar Hanks, Andrew Meneely, Oothout
Troy had Eber Jones, Clinton Meneely, Kimberly, Hanks after 1826
