Trip to Bangor, Bethlehem, Allentown, Tamaqua, Scranton, PA.

Bangor - WT-11 Chimola 1926, electrified, disconnected.


Chimola fits very well in small tower space.

 
Chimola - struck by hard wood - sounds like school fire alarm bell.

 

Easton - did not connect.

 

Bethlehem - TY-09 1900, electrified, exc cond, Anglican church.

 

Allentown - JO-09 1884, original chstd, exc cond, played regularly since 1884.


81/2 music rubs on cables.

These are Head bolt wrenches - which are seldom seen..

 

Tamaqua - MS-09 + PA-03, baton U/L MNL chstd built by Arthur Bigelow, bells in vertical    tower, carillon action, cramped chimer area.


Note the wires to the bells from the chimestand below.

Cramped, but works fine.

 

Wilkesbarre - understand that it is tubular, but not Deagan - did not see.

 

 

Scranton - WT-10 1892, elec, converted gas lamp over original chstd, #1 #8 bells have problem, tape player has problem.


Note the clapper off center from the pusher solenoid.
