A 43-bell carillon by Bollee from the 1867 Exposition Universale in Paris, France
was purchased. The bells were stored for the new Cathedral and gradually disappeared until
the last four were sold. The new Cathedral was flawed from the beginning and was later
torn down. I assume tht St. Joseph's still has its original 4 bells.
